Ornithopter (Human Energy Plane From Kanada)

Ornithopter, an aircraft that flies by flapping its wings made in Canada. Ornithopter is derived from Greek meaning ornithospteron wing. It is the creation Reichertdi Todd, PhD Candidate engineer at the University of Toronto Institute of Aerospace Studies course, he has achieved the best performance since Leonardo Da Vinci, who has made a sketch of aircraft engines, which are driven by human power. He managed to make this ornithopter flew for 19.3 seconds, and has a distance of 145 meters at an average speed of 25.6 kilometers per hour. Ornithopter was called 'Snowbird'.

Aircraft main ingredient comes from wire, carbon fiber, and wood. Weighs 94 pounds (42 kilograms), has a 105-foot wingspan, comparable to a Boeing 737. The pilot just like on a bicycle pedal to move the wing ornithopter, so fly the plane. This creation is finding the most efficient way to produce energy by using the human body. Hopefully sold to the public soon.
